My starting point is that my articles should be useful. And I want them to last, but not forever; they are supposed to wear out.

Then I want them to be beautiful. Looking at them should make you feel happy.

And finally they have a message. So that you don't forget.

Take a cushion. Useful to support you (or your plate on your knees). Beautiful if it is in a luxurious fabric with lustrous threads. And a reminder of your loved ones if it is also your family tree.
